IRL live streaming, from your iPhone
StreamX IRL broadcasts your iPhone camera and microphone straight to Twitch, YouTube Live, Facebook Live, Kick or Rumble. No computer, no capture card, no account.
Change quality mid-stream without dropping the broadcast — the thing that actually matters when you walk into bad signal.
What StreamX IRL is
StreamX IRL is an iPhone application for IRL live streaming. You paste the stream key from your platform's dashboard and go live. The app encodes video and audio on the device and publishes it over RTMP directly to the platform you selected. Nothing passes through our servers, because we do not operate any.
Features
Everything below is available in the free version unless noted.
Mid-stream quality changes
Switch between 1080p, 720p, 540p and 360p while live, without dropping the connection. Walk into a dead zone, drop to 360p, keep streaming.
Five platforms
Twitch, YouTube Live, Facebook Live, Kick and Rumble. Each keeps its own stream key, so switching destination is one tap.
Chat baked into the stream
Composite live Twitch chat into the broadcast so every viewer sees it. Resize it, reposition it, and set how long messages stay.
Logo and image overlays
Add a graphic, scale and position it, and crop it non-destructively — re-crop later without losing the original.
External microphones
USB-C mics such as the DJI Mic are detected and selected automatically. Switch back to the iPhone mic whenever you want.
Zoom and pan that viewers see
Pinch to zoom, drag to reframe. The reframing is encoded into the broadcast, not just your local preview.
Link monitoring
Upload rate and send-queue depth on screen, with automatic bitrate adaptation when the connection degrades.
Chat moderation
Block viewers or words so they never reach your broadcast, and review the full session chat log to report anyone.
Stereo audio metering
Live stereo levels with clipping indication, so you know your audio is landing before your viewers tell you.
Pricing
Broadcasting is free and unrestricted. There is no trial, no account, and no limit on how long you stream.

Frequently asked questions
What is StreamX IRL?
StreamX IRL is an iPhone application for IRL live streaming. You enter your stream key and it broadcasts your camera and microphone directly to Twitch, YouTube Live, Facebook Live, Kick or Rumble over RTMP. No computer, no capture card and no account with us is required.
Can I change stream quality without ending the broadcast?
Yes. StreamX IRL switches between 1080p, 720p, 540p and 360p while you are live, without dropping the connection. This exists specifically for IRL streaming, where you walk into a location with poor signal and need to drop resolution immediately rather than end the stream and restart.
Which platforms can I stream to?
Twitch, YouTube Live, Facebook Live, Kick and Rumble. Each platform stores its own stream key, so you can have them all saved and switch destination with one tap. You broadcast to one platform at a time.
Does StreamX IRL need an account?
No. There is no sign-up and no account. You paste the stream key from your platform's dashboard and go live. Stream keys are stored in the iOS Keychain on your device and are transmitted only to the platform you selected.
Can I put my Twitch chat on the stream?
Yes. Live Twitch chat can be composited into the broadcast itself, so viewers on any platform see it. You can resize and reposition the chat box, set how long messages remain visible, and block viewers or words so they never reach your broadcast.
Does it work with an external microphone?
Yes. USB-C microphones such as the DJI Mic are detected and selected automatically when plugged in, and you can switch back to the iPhone microphone at any time.
How much does StreamX IRL cost?
Broadcasting is free. The free version adds a small StreamX IRL watermark to the bottom-left corner of your stream. StreamX IRL Pro is $3.99 per month, removes the watermark, and unlocks a simulated viewer count and practice chat — both shown on your phone only and never sent to any platform.
Is StreamX IRL available now?
Not yet. StreamX IRL is in testing on physical devices and is preparing for App Store submission. This page will be updated when it is available to download.
